Historical Staffordshire General Lafayette Welcome to The Land Of Liberty Cup Plate KO

Extremely Rare Historical Staffordshire cup plate with a transfer of General Lafayette Land Of Liberty. This transfer is often seen on a larger child's plates but is almost nearly impossible to find in a cup plate. We have only seen a few in 40 years and have the pleasure of offering 2 variants in this catalog. In excellent condition with just a tiny glaze flake on the rim. Ex. Collections of Kurt O’Hare and Ludwig. This little cup plate only measures just 4 3/8”  in diameter and dates circa 1825. Number 85 in David and Linda Arman’s cup plate book checklist.
