Footed Compote featuring the Landing of General Lafayette at Castle Garden New York. This dish was made by James and Ralph Clews and measures 12" handle to handle by 8 3/4" wide by 2 1/2" tall. This was made circa 1825 and has the wonderful floral border. The lid is missing and it does have a hairline. Please inquire for full condition report.
