Historical Staffordshire Blue Platter Mendenhall Ferry Philadelphia
Historical Staffordshire blue platter with a view of the Mendenhall Ferry Philadelphia. Made by Joseph Stubbs from his Spread wing eagle border. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Does have some very minor wear on the back and slight staining but nothing too bad. Someone also wrote some things on the back but that would easily come off with a good cleaning. The front appears virtually unused. It measures 13 5/8” by 16 5/8” and it dates circa 1825.
