Historical Staffordshire General Lafayette Welcome to the Land Of Liberty pitcher. A very scarce pitcher that you don’t see that often. In 45 years of specializing in Historical Staffordshire we have only owned a few. Usually this transfer is under the spout of the larger ones with another portrait of Lafayette on each side with a long biography. Under each bust of Lafayette on this smaller size pitcher repeats a smaller biography. This one displays well but does have several small little nibbles on the inner rim and a chip on the foot table ring. There is also some staining on the bottom and there is an annealing line on the base where the foot meets the body. Really is still a pretty amazing little pitcher.
