Staffordshire Creamware Liverpool Pitcher Arms Deering Carver Eagle
Staffordshire creamware Liverpool Pitcher with a polychrome transfer “The Arms Of Deering” and on the reserve “The Arms Of Carver”. Then under the spout shows a cartouche with the original owners initials and a Eagle and shield. This piece has no chips or repairs but does have a long hairline down the one side and some staining. That however didn’t stop 2 avid Historical china collectors who’s collection stickers remain on the bottom. We knew both previous owners Roger Powers and Eugene Fleischer. Both collectors collections were very respected in this field. This pitcher is massive in size measuring 11” tall by about 10” from the handle to the spout. It dates circa 1800.
